A cornerstone solution offered through Mai Sabeel the CascadiAir water harvesting unit developed by Cascadia Technologies. CascadiAir “above-ground wells” are appliance-sized, solar powered units that harvest water from atmospheric humidity. Using Metal Organic Framework (MOF) adsorption technology, the water is filtered and made potable on a distributed basis. The smaller units can deliver up to 240 liters per day while larger, skid-based systems can collect around 1,000 liters a day. Cascadia’s harvesters can be deployed anywhere at a low cost and will provide a steady supply to small communities in need.
